Tour Ghaida 2 Days Package

Day 1: Muscat – Wadi Bani Khalid – Wahiba Sands

We’ll leave Muscat towards Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the biggest and most beautiful Wadis in Oman. After a short walk (~10 minutes, walking shoes required), you’ll discover sparkling, blue, clear water pools reaching depths of up to 9 meters — perfect for a long swim or sunbathing in a scenic canyon setting.

In the afternoon, we continue our journey to the desert: Wahiba Sands (also known as Al Sharqiya Sands), covering 12,500 km². This vast region, once called “The Wahiba Sands,” is named after the Bani Wahiba tribe. It stretches 180 km north to south and 80 km east to west. You’ll relax at the camp or enjoy a thrilling 4×4 drive in the dunes. We’ll end the day by watching the sunset over the golden sand dunes and finish with dinner at the desert camp.

Overnight in the Desert (Safari Desert Camp or Similar).

Day 2: Wahiba Sands – Sur – Wadi Shab – Fins Beach – Sinkhole – Muscat

In the morning after breakfast in the camp, we leave the desert towards Sur. We’ll take you on a city tour, visiting the famous Omani Dhow Factory and the old part of Sur with its traditional wooden doors and windows.

From Sur, we head to Wadi Shab, a massive canyon lined with palm trees. After a 35–40 minute hike (walking shoes required), you’ll reach clear turquoise pools ideal for swimming. The final pool leads into a hidden crevice cave with a small waterfall and magical lighting — a photographer’s dream!

We’ll then visit Fins Beach (White Sands Beach), known for its striking white sand, pebbly shores, and clear waters. Next, we stop at the stunning Bimmah Sinkhole, a turquoise lake formed by a collapsed limestone cave. It’s ~50 x 70 meters wide and 20 meters deep — swimming is possible here, and the area is maintained as a public park.

From there, we return to Muscat.
